Some people have asked me this question: is it ok to play DIABLO? Is that a sin?

Some have said it is not because the bible does not say that it's wrong. While some said it is wrong  basing from the title and the packaging itself it promotes evil. Well, for me I will not dwell on the question if it is wrong or not because we will just end up with endless debates and arguments. But what I will do is consider these 2 things ( which I believe every Christian should consider before doing anything):

1. Will it HONOR GOD? (Romans 12:1-2)
If you can say that while playing that game it will put a smile on God's face, that every time He sees you playing it He is just delighted, or if you have the chance you can invite God to play with you, in short if you can honestly say this game can be used to worship Him, then do it by all means! But if you find yourself trying to justify that game that it is really pleasing to Him and it can be used to worship Him, then I don't think it is worth it.

2. Will it help you MAKE DISCIPLES? (Matt28:18-20)
Discipleship  means helping other people follow God, to have fellowship with believers(be part of a spiritual family) and fish for people (sharing Jesus to people). Answering the question, by playing that game will it help you encourage people to follow God and His Word? Will it help you encourage people to be part of a spiritual family (church)? And lastly, can it be a tool for you to share Jesus and encourage them to share it to others as well? Again, if you are certain that this will truly help you, then by all means do it! But if you find yourself trying to justify, then I don't think it is worth it.

I hope and pray that God will reveal what you need to do. I hope also not just in this particular issue, but in everything that we will do, we will consider these two things. God bless!

Before I end let me leave you with this verse:

Ecclesiastes 12:13

13 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
